Ground Hours definition

Ground Hours for Flight Nurses means all time spent at an airport preparing for a flight or a series of flights, and includes generally preparing and restocking aircraft on return to home base; attending to clerical work pertaining to flights and other general duties normally undertaken by a Flight Nurse, including but not limited to the sterilisation of stock, maintenance and care of special nursing equipment, cleaning the nursing sections of the aircraft; caring of patients at terminals until the patient is transferred to hospital or at the commencement of a flight; supervising and assisting in loading and unloading of patients; escorting seriously ill patients to hospital in a road ambulance.
Ground Hours means the total number of hours during the calendar year immediately preceding the January 1 described in Section 59-2-103 that aircraft owned or operated by the following are on the ground:

Related to Ground Hours

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits. Base hours shall also include hours a staff member would have worked except for having been in military service. Base hours do not include hours for when a staff member receives other types of compensation, such as administrative, personal leave, vacation, or sick leave.

  • Clock hour(s means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school-age care competencies.

  • Support Hours means 24 hours per day with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day;

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Operating Hours means the hours listed in an early learning program parent handbook when the program is open and providing care and services to children.

  • Business Days and Hours means Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time, except for holidays observed by the state of Washington.

  • Hours means clock hours.

  • Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.

  • On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.

  • SOFR Observation Shift Days means the number of U.S. Government Securities Business Days as specified in the applicable Pricing Supplement; and

  • Service Hours means the amount of time (measured in hours or fractions thereof) a Unit is Delivering Energy or Ancillary Services pursuant to a Dispatch Notice.

  • Contact hour means an hour of training received through direct instruction.

  • Ordinary Hours means 38 hours per week within the spread of hours which may be averaged over a 12 month period.

  • Clock hour means either of the following:

  • Kilowatt-hour or “kWh” shall mean three decimal six million (3.6 10E6) Joule

  • Work Days means judicial days (or a day when the court is open).

  • Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment at which the wheels of the Aircraft (or other aircraft in the case of Parts or Engines temporarily installed on such other aircraft) leave the ground on the take-off of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) until the wheels of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) touch the ground on the landing of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) following such take-off.

  • permitted hours means the periods specified for each parking place during which waiting by vehicles of a specific class is permitted as specified on the Plans;

  • Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups.   • Regular Hours means the hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, excluding the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

  • Trading Hours means, for any Business Day, the hours as may be published by BSEF in a Notice to Participants from time to time.
