Former ONE Gas Employee definition

Former ONE Gas Employee means any individual (or any beneficiary, dependent, or alternate payee of such individual, as the context requires) whose employment with any member of the ONEOK Group was terminated prior to January 1, 2014, if such individual was allocated in connection with the Separation to any member of the ONE Gas Group as of January 1, 2014 by ONEOK in its sole discretion.
Former ONE Gas Employee means any individual (or any beneficiary, dependent, or alternate payee of such individual, as the context requires) (i) whose employment with the Company or any of its Subsidiaries was terminated before the effective date of the Separation; or (ii) whose employment with any member of the ONEOK Group was terminated prior to January 1, 2014, if such individual was allocated in connection with the Separation to the Company or any of its Subsidiaries as of January 1, 2014 by ONEOK, Inc., in its sole discretion.

  • Public employee means an individual holding a position by appointment or employment in the government of this state, in the government of 1 or more of the political subdivisions of this state, in the public school service, in a public or special district, in the service of an authority, commission, or board, or in any other branch of the public service, subject to the following exceptions:

  • Former Employee means all individuals (including common law employees, independent contractors and individual consultants) who were employed or engaged by the Company in connection with the Business but who are no longer so employed or engaged on the date hereof.

  • U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Prospective employee means an assessed individual who is anticipated to be hired upon completion of training.

  • Managing Employee means a general manager, business manager, administrator, director, or other individual who exercises operational or managerial control over, or who directly or indirectly conducts the day-to-day operation of an institution, organization, or agency.

  • Non-Key Employee means any Employee who is not a Key Employee.

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Company Employee means an employee of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Participating employee means an employee whose election to participate in a Plan has been approved by the employer.

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.
