Extended Xxxxxx Care definition

Extended Xxxxxx Care. A program for children 18 to 22 years old who are eligible, and have signed an agreement, to participate in this program and are: Enrolled and participating full time in a high school program leading toward a diploma and the Child is under age 22; Accepted for admission to a college, or vocational program, that does not begin immediately and the Child is under age 21. In this situation, the Child’s eligibility is extended three and a half months after the end of the month in which the Child receives his/her high school diploma or GED certificate; or Enrolled and participating full time in vocational or technical training classes, including GED classes, and scheduled to graduate before reaching his/her 21st birthday. These children can remain in care to complete vocational-technical training classes regardless of whether or not the Child has received a high school diploma or GED certificate. (40 TAC §700.316) Facility: Any Residential Child-Care operation including Child-Placing Agencies, Independent Xxxxxx Homes, General Residential Operations, and Residential Treatment Centers.
Extended Xxxxxx Care. Period of time when NMDs, defined in Subparagraph 4.21 17 are eligible to receive support services under AB 12.
Extended Xxxxxx Care means youth 18 through 20 who chose to continue in xxxxxx care.

  • The residential care and support provided to a: Child in the Department’s managing conservatorship who has been placed in a living situation outside the Child's own home in order to protect the Child from abuse or neglect; or Child who has turned 18 years of age and has voluntarily agreed to participate in the Department’s Extended Xxxxxx Care program or Return to Care program and meets the requirements of such.

  • Social Worker II’s and III’s shall have a mixed caseload that includes providing services for Non-Related Legal Guardian (NRLG) cases, and Non-Court Extended Xxxxxx Care (NC-EFC) cases.

  • A plan established by the 8 Social Worker/Probation Officer in collaboration with the Xxxxxx Youth/NMD to develop and 9 document meaningful and attainable goals that will support the Xxxxxx Youth’s/NMD’s transition 10 to adulthood; and meet at least one participation requirement for the NMD to remain eligible for 11 Extended Xxxxxx Care.

  • The NMD must meet the goals outlined in their Transitional Independent Living Plan (TILP) Case Plan, participate in six (6)- month review hearings; and meet one (1) or more of the five (5) Extended Xxxxxx Care participation conditions.

  • The SSCC will offer assistance to the youth in maintaining documentation such as school transcripts or pay stubs to demonstrate that any such child/youth 18 to 22 years of age is qualified to remain in Extended Xxxxxx Care or Return to Care.

  • Extended Xxxxxx Care (EFC): The period of time that provides PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS or PROGRAM APPLICANTS extended time as a Non-Minor Dependent as defined in Subparagraph 2.13.

Extended Xxxxxx Care or “EFC” means a voluntary program that offers youth in xxxxxx care the option of remaining in care until twenty-one (21) to support a successful transition to independence.
Extended Xxxxxx Care. This is used in the calculation of FIG, but does not count in a student’s COA as it is not considered Estimated Financial Assistance (EFA) by Federal Student Aid (FSA). This means, students can potentially receive student loans or work study for the amount listed.
