Establishment of Probationary Period. If the superintendent concurs with the supervisor's judgment that the performance of an employee is unsatisfactory, the superintendent shall place the employee in a probationary status for a designated 60 school day period, at anytime after October 15 and ending May 1. At the time that the probationary period commences, which is to occur on or before January 15 the employee shall be given written notice of the action of the superintendent.
