Domestic violence advocate means an individual, organization, or agency who is currently working with individuals, or has worked with individuals in the past, regarding an individual’s domestic violence situation.
Domestic violence advocate means any person who is acting under the direction and supervision of a licensed and approved domestic violence program and has satisfied the training standards required by the OCFS.

  • Certified Domestic Violence Specialist means a person who has fulfilled the requirements of certification as a Domestic Violence Specialist established by the New Jersey Association of Domestic Violence Professionals.

  • Sexual violence means any sexual act or act targeting a person’s sexuality, gender identity or gender expression, whether the act is physical or psychological in nature, that is committed, threatened or attempted against a person without the person’s consent. It includes sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, indecent exposure, voyeurism and sexual exploitation. For further clarity, sexual assault includes rape.
