Sailboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.
Systems Engineering means preparing specifications, identifying and resolving interface problems, developing test requirements, evaluating test data, and supervising design.
Reception center means a business that:
GATS means the General Agreement on Trade in Services, contained in Annex 1B to the WTO Agreement;
storey means that portion of a building which is situated between the top of any floor and the top of the floor next above it, and if there is no floor above it, that portion between the top of such floor and the ceiling above it.
Interconnector means equipment used to link the electricity system of the State to electricity systems outside of the State;
Landing means the level portion of a stairs located between flights of stairs or located at the top and foot of a stairs.
PIDs shall have the meaning set forth in Exhibit B.
Seaplane means an aeroplane capable normally of taking off from and alighting solely on water;
townsite in relation to the townsite to be established near the harbour means a townsite (whether or not constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act) primarily to facilitate the Company’s operations in and near the harbour and for employees of the Company and in relation to the mining areas means such a townsite or townsites or any other townsite or townsites which is or are established by the Company for the purposes of its operations and employees on or near the mining areas in lieu of a townsite constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act;
Perimeter means the fenced or walled area of the institution that restrains the movement of the inmates.
Architectural coating means a coating applied to stationary structures and their appurtenances, to mobile homes, to pavements, or to curbs.
Superstructure means the part of the bodywork which contributes to the strength of the vehicle in the event of a roll-over accident.
Catechumen means a member of the catechumenate of a Catholic Church. This will normally be evidenced by a certificate of reception into the order of catechumens.
Houseboat means a powered vessel containing living accommodation, usually flat- bottomed and used in navigation.
Connector means a flanged, screwed, welded, or other joined fitting used to connect two pipelines or a pipeline and a piece of process equipment.
River means a flowing body of water or a portion or tributary of a flowing body of water, including streams, creeks, or impoundments and small lakes thereon.
Hood means a respiratory inlet covering that completely covers the head and neck and may also cover portions of the shoulders and torso.
Shorelines means all of the water areas of the state, including reservoirs, and their associated shorelands, together with the lands underlying them; except (i) shorelines of statewide significance; (ii) shorelines on segments of streams upstream of a point where the mean annual flow is twenty cubic feet per second or less and the wetlands associated with such upstream segments; and (iii) shorelines on lakes less than twenty acres in size and wetlands associated with such small lakes.
Dewatering means the removal of water for construction activity. It can be a discharge of appropriated surface or groundwater to dry and/or solidify a construction site. It may require Minnesota Department of Natural Resources permits to be appropriated and if contaminated may require other MPCA permits to be discharged.
Façade means the principal front or fronts of a building.
Pond means a natural or man-made impoundment of water with a water surface area of one acre or less at the high water level.
Anchorage means the system by which the seat assembly is secured to the vehicle structure, including the affected parts of the vehicle structure;
Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.
Engineering means the application of scientific knowledge for the design, control, or use of building structures, equipment, or apparatus.
Roomer means a person occupying a dwelling unit that lacks a major bathroom or kitchen facility, in a structure where one or more major facilities are used in common by occupants of the dwelling unit and other dwelling units. Major facility in the case of a bathroom means toilet, or either a bath or shower, and in the case of a kitchen means refrigerator, stove or sink.
