District Technology Resources definition

District Technology Resources. All technology owned and/or operated by the District, including computers, projectors, televisions, video and sound systems, mobile devices, calculators, scanners, printers, cameras, portable hard drives, hardware, software, routers, and networks, including the Internet.
District Technology Resources refers to the District’s computers; District issued personal data devices (including Smartphones, Blackberries, PDAs, other mobile or handheld devices) and instructional technologies; communications and data management systems; informational technologies and the Internet; and a variety of other technology resources in order to promote educational excellence.

  • If I commit any violation, my privileges to use the District Technology Resources may be terminated, and other disciplinary action may be taken.

  • I/We also hereby agree to indemnify the District as well as all school teachers, administrators, and adult volunteers from any claims arising out of my/our child’s violation of, or conduct inconsistent with, the Acceptable Technology Use Agreement, made by third parties and whether such claims arise from Internet use performed on District Technology Resources through school accounts or personal computers through personal accounts.

  • Finally, I agree to report any misuse of District Technology Resources, including the Internet, by other students to my teacher or system administrator.

  • Employees may not use the District’s Technology Resources for the purpose of influencing the outcomes of elections, or to advocate support for or opposition to pending or proposed legislation by initiating such activity through District Technology Resources.

  • The Student's use of the district's resources, including access to the Internet ("District Technology Resources") is a privilege conditioned on the Student's agreeing to the district policies and terms of this agreement and on the Student's abiding by the same.

  • By executing this Agreement, I expressly agree to be responsible for my use of School District Technology Resources and Personal Technology Devices (PTD) in accordance with the School District’s Procedures for the Acceptable Use of Technology Resources and Personal Technology Devices, and to assume all responsibility for any liability associated with my use of School District Technology Resources and/or PTD in violation of this Agreement.

  • I understand that violating the School District’s Procedures for the Acceptable Use of Technology Resources and Personal Technology Devices may result in having my use privileges of School District Technology Resources and/or PTD suspended or revoked, and that I may be further subject to disciplinary action, in accordance with the School District Student Code of Conduct, or other legal action.

Related to District Technology Resources

  • Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government.   • Clean coal technology means any technology, including technologies applied at the precombustion, combustion, or post combustion stage, at a new or existing facility which will achieve significant reductions in air emissions of sulfur dioxide or oxides of nitrogen associated with the utilization of coal in the generation of electricity, or process steam which was not in widespread use as of November 15, 1990.

  • Information Technology (IT) System means the combination of hardware components, software, and other equipment to make a system whose core purpose is to accomplish a data processing need such as the automatic acquisition, storage, analysis, evaluation, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission or reception of data. IT systems include ground systems in support of flight hardware. IT systems do not include—

  • Information Technology (IT means data processing, telecommunications, and office systems technologies and services:

  • Nuclear medicine technologist means an individual who holds a current certification with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

  • Collaboration Technology means all Collaboration Patents and Collaboration Know-How.

  • High-technology activity means that term as defined in section 3 of the Michigan economic growth authority act, 1995 PA 24, MCL 207.803.

  • New Technology means any invention, discovery, improvement, or innovation that was not available to the District on the effective date of the contract, whether or not patentable, including, but not limited to, new processes, emerging technology, machines, and improvements to or new applications of existing processes, machines, manufactures and software. Also included are new computer programs, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing computer programs, whether or not copyrightable and any new process, machine, including software, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing processes, machines, manufactures and software.

  • SAP Technology Solution(s means SAP NetWeaver Foundation for Third Party Applications, SAP Business Technology Platform (excluding when used solely as a Connectivity App between an SAP Application and ERP), SAP Signavio Solutions and SAP Process Insights (including any renamed, prior and/or successor versions of any of the foregoing made generally available by SAP if any but excluding when any of the foregoing are used as a User Interface for ERP.

  • Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.

  • Clean coal technology demonstration project means a project using funds appropriated under the heading “Department of Energy—Clean Coal Technology,” up to a total amount of $2,500,000,000 for commercial demonstration of clean coal technology, or similar projects funded through appropriations for the Environmental Protection Agency. The federal contribution for a qualifying project shall be at least 20 percent of the total cost of the demonstration project.

  • Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Qualified high-technology business means a business that is either of the following:

  • Assistive technology service means any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device. The term includes:

  • Information Technology Systems means all information technology systems, Software, computers, workstations, databases, routers, hubs, switches, networks and other information technology equipment used or held for use in, or otherwise relating to, the Business.

  • Proprietary medicine means a completely compounded nonprescription drug in its unbroken,

  • Therapeutic school means a residential group living facility:

  • Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.

  • Alternative energy technology means equipment, component parts, materials, electronic devices, testing equipment, and related systems that are specifically designed, specifically fabricated, and used primarily for 1 or more of the following:

  • Joint Technology means Joint Inventions and Joint Patents.

  • Medical management technique means a practice which is used to control the cost or utilization of health care services or prescription drug use. The term includes, without limitation, the use of step therapy, prior authorization or categorizing drugs and devices based on cost, type or method of administration.

  • Technology means any and all technical information, specifications, drawings, records, documentation, works of authorship or other creative works, ideas, algorithms, models, databases, ciphers/keys, systems architecture, network protocols, research, development, and manufacturing information, software (including object code and source code), application programming interfaces (APIs), innovations, mask works, logic designs, circuit designs, technical data, processes and methods.
