CSS Decryption Module definition

CSS Decryption Module means a product capable of receiving, decrypting and descrambling transmissions from a DVD Drive and that incorporates the CSS Authentication Algorithm, the Disc Key Recovery Logic, the Title Key Recovery Algorithm and the Content Scrambling Algorithm. Such capability may be in Hardware and/or Software.

  • The Authenticator in a CSS Decryption Module shall correctly engage in and complete the authentication process with the DVD Drive and ensure that the CSS Keys are received by the Descrambler only if the authentication process is successful.

The term does not include computer software or data incidental to contract administration, such as financial and/or management information.

  • Subscription Software means software provided and hosted in the Computing Environment by SAP on a subscription basis as part of the HEC Subscription offering as identified in the Order Form.

  • Software Error means a reproducible defect or combination thereof in the Software that results in a failure of the Software when used in accordance with the Documentation. Software Errors do not include those errors caused by (a) Licensee’s negligence, (b) any unauthorized modification or alteration Licensee makes to the Software, (c) data that does not conform to Licensor’s specified data format, (d) operator error, or (e) use not conforming to the Licensor’s supported technical environment specified in the Documentation.
