Backflow Prevention Assembly definition

Backflow Prevention Assembly means any mechanical assembly installed at a water service line or at a plumbing fixture to prevent a backflow contamination event, provided that the mechanical assembly is appropriate for the identified contaminant at the cross connection and is an in-line field-testable assembly.
Backflow Prevention Assembly means a mechanical device used to prevent backflow.

More Definitions of Backflow Prevention Assembly

Backflow Prevention Assembly means an assembly for the prevention of backflow from the customer's water system to the District's water system and may include, but not be limited to, a backflow prevention device, isolation valves, test cocks, thrust restraints, a vault, connecting piping, an enclosure, and other appurtenances.
