Contract Sum for the Works definition

Contract Sum for the Works means the Contract Sum accepted by the Government for the construction of the Works as stated in the Letter of Acceptance less contingency items;

  • The PCSA Retention shall be the Employer’s property until the last of the following events occur: the parties confirm in writing that the Contract Sum for the Works has been agreed; [and/or] the parties enter into the Contract; [and/or] [the parties confirm in writing that the Contractor has completed the delivery of the stage 4 design required by this agreement.

  • Provided always that the total amount of compensation for delay to be paid under this condition shall not exceed the under noted percentage of the Contract Sum for the Works for which a separate period of completion is given.

  • The Principal agrees to pay the Contractor the Contract Sum for the Works in accordance with clause 15.

  • The PCSA retention shall be the Customer’s property until the last of the following events occur:the parties confirm in writing that the Contract Sum for the Works has been agreed; and/or• the parties enter into the Contract; and/or• the parties confirm in writing that the Supplier has completed the delivery of its obligations under the PCSA.

Related to Contract Sum for the Works

  • Contract Sum means the sum named in the letter of acceptance including Physical contingencies subject to such addition thereto or deduction there-from as may be made under the provisions hereinafter contained.

  • Minor Works has the meaning given to it in paragraph 2.7(a) of Schedule 4 (Persons with Disabilities and Disability Discrimination);

  • Contract Schedule means a schedule to this Contract;

  • The Works means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Sewage works means all facilities for collecting, pumping, treating, and disposing of sewage.

  • Work/ works means work / works to be executed in accordance with the contract.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Background Material means any pre-existing works in which the Intellectual Property Rights are owned by either Party, which have been prepared by that Party outside the scope of this Agreement or which were licensed from a third party by that Party.”

  • Custom Local Area Signaling Service Features (CLASS Features) means certain Common Channel Signaling based features available to End Users, including: Automatic Call Back; Call Trace; Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting; Selective Call Forward; and Selective Call Rejection.

  • Lower tier subcontractor means any party entering into an agreement with the SUBCONTRACTOR or any Lower Tier SUBCONTRACTOR for the furnishing of supplies or services required for performance of this Subcontract.

  • Supplier of water means any person who owns or operates a public water system.

  • Scope of Works means the sections of the RFQ detailing the technical requirements of the work to be carried out as existing at the Date of Acceptance of the Quotation and any modification of such Works thereafter directed or the use of which has been permitted by the Superintendent for the purposes of the Contract.

  • Development Works means the external development works and internal development works on immovable property;

  • start of works means the earlier of either the start of construction works relating to the investment, or the first legally binding commitment to order equipment or any other commitment that makes the investment irreversible. Buying land and preparatory works such as obtaining permits and conducting feasibility studies are not considered start of works. For take-overs, ‘start of works’ means the moment of acquiring the assets directly linked to the acquired establishment;

  • live-work unit means a unit intended for both residential and non-residential uses concurrently;

  • Program Materials means the documents and information provided by the Program Administrator specifying the qualifying EEMs, technology requirements, costs and other Program requirements, which include, without limitation, program guidelines and requirements, application forms and approval letters.

  • Plant and materials means: The Plant and materials in respect of which an advance payment prior to manufacture is required, which the City of Cape Town has agreed may be subject to advance payment, such Plant and materials being listed in the Schedule of Plant and materials.

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.

  • Installation Works means, as the context so requires,

  • Source-image receptor distance means the distance from the source to the center of the input surface of the image receptor.

  • Developed Software means software specifically designed for the Principal under the Contract. Depending how advanced its development is, it may be either a Product or a Service or both.

  • Fully Burdened Manufacturing Cost means, with respect to any Licensed Product supplied by or on behalf of NVCR to Zai hereunder if such Licensed Product (or any precursor or intermediate thereof) is manufactured by a Third Party manufacturer [***].

  • MSAA Indicator Technical Specifications document means, as the context requires, either or both of the document entitled “Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (MSAA) 2019-20 Indicator Technical Specifications November 5, 2018 Version 1.3” and the document entitled “Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (MSAA) 2019-20 Target and Corridor-Setting Guidelines” as they may be amended or replaced from time to time;

  • Development Tools means the development kits, programming tools, emulators and other materials that may be used in the development of Games under this Agreement.

  • Work or Works means the works to be executed or done under this contract.
