Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum definition

Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum means the forum for redressal of grievance of Consumers, established under sub-section 5 of section 42 of the Act.
Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum or “CGRF” or “Forum” means the forum for redressal of grievances of electricity consumers, established by a Distribution Licencee pursuant to Section 42(5) of the Act and these Regulations;

  • If consumer is not found satisfied at the IGR Cell of the concerned department, he may approach to Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) for their redressal of grievances.

  • In case the Distribution Licensee fails to pay the compensation or if the affected person is aggrieved by non-redressal of his grievances, he may make a representation for the redressal of his grievance to the concerned Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum in accordance with the provisions of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum and Electricity Ombudsman) Regulations, 2004 including any amendment or revisit thereto.

  • Provided that in case the claim for compensation is upheld by the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, the compensation determined by the Commission in Schedule-I to these Regulations will be implemented by the Forum or by the Ombudsman, in case of an appeal filed against order of the Forum before him and is to be paid by the concerned Distribution Licensee.

  • It also provides information on Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum and Ombudsman and guides the consumer for redressal of their grievances.

  • In case the consumer feels aggrieved by the licensee’s disposal of the complaint, the consumer can approach Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum and Electricity Ombudsman in accordance with JERC for Manipur and Mizoram (Consumer Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2010, as amended from time to time.

  • Attack directed against any civilian population means a course of conduct involving the multiple commission of acts referred to in paragraph 1 against any civilian population, pursuant to or in furtherance of a State or organizational policy to commit such attack;
