Business Group of One definition

Business Group of One means the same in this Contract as it does under Colorado law.
Business Group of One means, for purposes of initial qualification, an individual, a sole proprietor, or a single full-time employee of a subchapter S corporation, C corporation, limited liability company, or partnership who has carried on significant business activity for a period of at least one year prior to application for coverage, has taxable income as indicated on federal internal revenue service forms 1040, schedule C, F, or SE, or other forms recognized by the federal internal revenue service for income reporting purposes which generated taxable income in one of the two previous years or from which that individual, sole proprietor, or single full-time employee has derived at least a substantial part of such individual's income for one year out of any consecutive three-year period. This definition shall be met by an individual certifying in an affidavit signed under oath that such individual meets the definition set forth in this subsection (2.5). HAS THE SAME MEANING AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 10-16-102 (6).

  • group of companies means a holding company and all of its subsidiaries;

  • Affiliated group of corporations means an affiliated group as defined in section 1504 of the Internal Revenue Code, except that, if such a group includes at least one incumbent local exchange carrier that is primarily engaged in the business of providing local exchange telephone service in this state, the affiliated group shall not include any incumbent local exchange carrier that would otherwise be included in the group.

  • Controlled group of corporations has the meaning set forth in Code Section 1563.

  • Resident Business or “Resident Contractor” means an entity that has a valid resident certificate issued by the NM Taxation and Revenue Department pursuant to Section 13-1-22 NMSA 1978.

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • Residentia Group means Residentia Group Pty Ltd of 165 Barkly Avenue Burnley VIC, ACN 600 546 656 in respect of Appliances purchased in Australia;

  • Group Business Entity means;

  • Active business operations means all business operations that are not inactive business operations.

  • Eligible next Michigan business means that term as defined in section 3 of the Michigan economic growth authority act, 1995 PA 24, MCL 207.803.

  • Real Estate Business means homebuilding, housing construction, real estate development or construction and related real estate activities, including the provision of mortgage financing or title insurance.

  • Cemetery services means cremations, grave openings and closings, and installation of grave memorials.

  • Next Michigan development corporation means that term as defined in section 3 of the next Michigan development act, 2010 PA 275, MCL 125.2953.

  • Trust business means the business of acting as trustee, executor or administrator;

  • Hospitality means the considerate care of guests, which may include refreshments, accommodation and entertainment at a restaurant, hotel, club, resort, convention, concert, sporting event or other venue such as Company offices, with or without the personal presence of the host. Provision of travel may also be included, as may other services such as provision of guides, attendants and escorts; use of facilities such as a spa, golf course or ski resort with equipment included;

  • Financial Services Business for purposes of this Unit Agreement shall mean the business of banking, including deposit, credit, trust and investment services, mortgage banking, asset management, and brokerage and investment banking services.   • MNE Group means any Group that (i) includes two or more enterprises the tax residences of which are in different jurisdictions, or includes an enterprise that is resident for tax purposes in one jurisdiction and is subject to tax with respect to the business carried out through a permanent establishment in another jurisdiction, and (ii) is not an Excluded MNE Group;

  • Asset Management Company means an asset Management Company as defined in the Rules and Regulations.

  • Community Contribution Company means a corporation formed under the laws of British Columbia that includes in its articles the following statement:

  • Operating Company has the meaning set forth in the preamble.
