Bank Transfer Service definition

Bank Transfer Service allows you to transfer funds to your primary deposit account (an “Inbound Bank Transfer”) from an eligible bank account in your name at a U.S. financial institution (your “External Bank Account”). Although we may use any means to execute an Inbound Bank Transfer, we normally use the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”). You cannot use the Bank Transfer Service to transfer funds from your primary deposit account to your External Bank Account or another bank account.

Examples of Bank Transfer Service in a sentence

  • There is no fee for Inbound Transfers that you initiate through the Bank to Bank Transfer Service.

  • You must link your checking or savings accounts to the Service and then register both those linked accounts with us and your checking or savings accounts at the other financial institution with the Bank to Bank Transfer Service in order to initiate Bank to Bank Transfers between them.

  • Before you may use the Bank Transfer Service, we will verify your ownership of your External Bank Account by: (i) accessing your account information at the applicable U.S. financial institution and/or (ii) asking you to provide proof of your ownership.

  • Eligibility Not all types of accounts are eligible for the Bank to Bank Transfer Service.

  • If you enroll in our Bank to Bank Transfer Service you may use the Service to initiate One-Time Immediate Transfers, One-Time Future Transfers and Recurring Transfers to or from a checking or statement savings account with us to or from a checking or savings account that you own at another financial institution.

  • You agree that we may provide notice to you by posting it on the Platform, sending you an in-product message within the Bank to Bank Transfer Service, emailing it to an email address that you have provided us, mailing it to any postal address that you have provided us, or by sending it as a text message to any mobile phone number that you have provided us, including but not limited to the mobile phone number that you have listed in your Bank to Bank Transfer Service setup or customer profile.

  • If you sign up online (without a Green Dot package), you may make your initial deposit in cash at a participating retailer, by using direct deposit once you have completed the account sign-up process or by using our Bank Transfer Service.
