Cable Service definition

Cable Service means the one-way transmission to Subscribers of video programming or other programming service, and Subscriber interaction, if any, which is required for the selection or use of such video programming or other programming service.
Cable Service means the one-way transmission to Subscribers of Video Programming or other programming service and Subscriber interaction, if any, which is required for the selection or use of such Video Programming or other programming service. “Cable Service” does not include any Video Programming provided by a commercial mobile service provider as defined in 47 U.S.C. §332(d).

Examples of Cable Service in a sentence

  • Cable Service may not be resold or otherwise used in contravention of Franchisee’s rights with third parties respecting programming.

  • The rates and charges for Cable Service provided pursuant to this Franchise shall be subject to regulation in accordance with federal law.

  • The tier of Cable Service which includes the retransmission of primary local television broadcast signals provided to any Subscriber and, to the extent required by applicable law, any PEG Channels required by this Franchise, and which may also include any additional video programming signals as determined by Franchisee.

  • Franchisee shall not abandon any Cable Service or portion thereof without the LFA’s prior written consent as provided in the Cable Law.

  • A Person who lawfully receives Cable Service over the Cable System with Franchisee’s express permission.


More Definitions of Cable Service

Cable Service or “Cable TV Service” means the transmission of programmes including retransmission of signals of television channels through cables;
