Apartment Common Area definition

Apartment Common Area is defined as all portions of the Apartment except any single bedroom occupied by Resident or any Co-Resident of the Apartment, subject to restrictions described herein, that is shared with any Co- Resident of the Apartment and includes but is not limited to the Apartment’s kitchen, living/dining room, and shared bathrooms.

  • Damage to the Apartment Common Area spaces will be divided equally among all Residents unless one Resident claims responsibility in writing to Manager for the damages.

  • Landlord is not obligated to recognize any understanding or agreement that may exist between Co-Residents, including but not limited to the responsibility for any damages to Apartment Common Area that may have been caused by one Co-Resident as opposed to another.

  • Over the four-year implementation period, financial resources from the project would be adequate.

  • The Premises is defined as a single bedroom in the Apartment plus an undivided joint use of Apartment Common Area with other Co-Residents of the Apartment, if any, and subject to restrictions described herein.

  • Resident is also responsible for a pro-rata share of all other obligations described in this Lease Agreement and in applicable law related to Apartment Common Area, all such obligations divided equally among all Co-Residents of the Apartment.

Related to Apartment Common Area

  • apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;

  • Building Common Areas means with respect to the Tower, the areas, facilities and amenities specified in Schedule [E] which are to be used and enjoyed in common with all the other Apartment Acquirers of the Units in the Building; and

  • Shopping Center means the Shopping Center identified on the initial page hereof.

  • Common Area means all areas and facilities within the Project that are not designated by Landlord for the exclusive use of Tenant or any other lessee or other occupant of the Project, including the parking areas, access and perimeter roads, pedestrian sidewalks, landscaped areas, trash enclosures, recreation areas and the like.

  • Project Common Areas as used in this Lease, shall mean the portion of the Project designated as such in the Site Plan. The Project Common Areas shall consist of all parking facilities, entrances and exits, driveways, exterior walkways, first-class landscaped and hardscaped areas which are generally consistent with the quality of landscaped and hardscaped areas of Comparable Buildings in existence as of the date of this Lease, open space areas and plazas on the real property comprising the Project. The term "BUILDING COMMON AREAS," as used in this Lease, shall mean the portions of the Common Areas located within any building in the Project not entirely leased by Tenant, which Building Common Areas shall be reasonably designated as such by Landlord. Notwithstanding the foregoing and subject to (i) Landlord's approval, which approval (as indicated in Section 29.4 below) shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed, (ii) the CC&R's, and (iii) all terms of this Lease regarding Hazardous Materials, Tenant may install or locate such items as benches, patio tables, bike racks, above-ground generators, security cameras and the like (collectively, "MISCELLANEOUS COMMON AREA ITEMS") at Tenant's sole cost in the Common Areas or on the exterior of the Building, as applicable, provided that Tenant removes such items upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease and repairs any damage to the Common Areas or the exterior of the Building (as applicable) resulting from such removal. If Tenant fails to remove any Miscellaneous Common Area Item or to repair any damage resulting from such removal upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease, Landlord may do so and may charge Landlord's actual cost thereof to Tenant. The manner in which the Common Areas are maintained and operated shall be in accordance with a standard which is not less than that customarily followed in the operation and maintenance of first class mid-rise office buildings located within the University Towne Center (i.e., the area from two (2) blocks to the North of La Jolla Village Drive to two (2) blocks to the South of La Jolla Village Drive between the I-5 and I-805 freeways), Del Mar, Carmel Valley and Torrey Hills geographical areas, provided that Landlord shall manage, maintain and operate the same in a manner consistent with that of Comparable Buildings, and the use thereof shall be subject to such rules and regulations as Landlord reasonably may make from time to time. As used herein, "COMPARABLE BUILDINGS" shall mean the first class mid-rise office buildings (now existing or subsequently constructed) within the projects located within the University Towne Center, Del Mar, Carmel Valley and Torrey Hills geographical areas and having substantially similar characteristics to the Building pertaining to size, age, accessibility, design, quality, amenities and tenancies. Landlord reserves the right to make alterations or additions to, or to change the location of, elements of the Project and the Common Areas, provided that if any such changes might affect Tenant's use of the Premises (in other than an immaterial manner), Landlord obtains Tenant's prior written approval of any such alterations, additions and changes and such alterations, additions and changes do not unreasonably interfere with Tenant's access to the Premises. Except when and where Tenant's right of access is specifically excluded in this Lease, Tenant shall have the right of access to the Building and the parking facilities twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week during the Lease Term.   • Heritage Building means a Building designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18, or any successor legislation, or a Building designated under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act,R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18, or any successor legislation, which has been identified as a significant heritage resource in a conservation district plan and any Building listed in the Markham Register of Property of Cultural Heritage Value of Interest;

  • Limited common areas and facilities means those common areas and facilities

  • Common Areas is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Industrial Center and interior utility raceways within the Premises that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other lessees of the Industrial Center and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, sidewalks, walkways, parkways, driveways and landscaped areas.

  • Condominium Project Real estate including the separate ownership in fee, or on a satisfactory leasehold estate, of a particular residential unit with an indivisible interest in the real estate designated for common ownership strictly by unit owners.

  • Office Building (Premises), means a building or premises or part thereof whose sole or principal use is for an office or for office purposes or clerical work. "Office purposes" includes the purpose of administration, clerical work, handling money, telephone, telegraph and computer operation; and "clerical work" includes writing, book-keeping, sorting papers typing, filing, duplicating, punching cards or tapes, machines calculations, drawing of matter for publication and editorial preparation of matter for publication.

  • Condominium Property means the lands, leaseholds, and personal property that are subjected to condominium ownership, whether or not contiguous, and all improvements thereon and all easements and rights appurtenant thereto intended for use in connection with the condominium.

  • Condominium unit A Single Family Property within a Condominium Project.

  • Redevelopment Area means the community redevelopment area described, defined or otherwise identified or referred to in the Redevelopment Plan.

  • Garage shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Recital H;

  • Residential building means a building containing one or more residential dwellings.

  • Apartment shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Recital H;

  • Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy.

  • Condominium Corporation means a condominium or strata corporation established under provincial legislation.

  • Public building and "public work" means a public building of, and a public work of, a governmental entity (the United States; the District of Columbia; commonwealths, territories, and minor outlying islands of the United States; State and local governments; and multi-State, regional, or interstate entities which have governmental functions). These buildings and works may include, without limitation, bridges, dams, plants, highways, parkways, streets, subways, tunnels, sewers, mains, power lines, pumping stations, heavy generators, railways, airports, terminals, docks, piers, wharves, ways, lighthouses, buoys, jetties, breakwaters, levees, and canals, and the construction, alteration, maintenance, or repair of such buildings and works.

  • Parking Lot means a building or land used for the parking or storage of ten or more motorcars or bakkies, or two or more buses or trucks, excluding −

  • Green building strategies means those strategies that minimize the impact of development on the environment, and enhance the health, safety and well-being of residents by producing durable, low-maintenance, resource-efficient housing while making optimum use of existing infrastructure and community services.

  • Building Project means the aggregate combined parcel of land on a portion of which are the improvements of which the Premises form a part, with all the improvements thereon, said improvements being a part of the block and lot for tax purposes which are applicable to the aforesaid land.

  • Parking Garage means a building or portion of a building, other than a private garage, that is used for the temporary parking of motor vehicles;

  • Shopping Centre means a grouping of commercial retail outlets which have been designed, developed and managed as a unit by a single owner or group of owners or tenants located on the same lot or lots with a frontage not less than 45 metres and having common on-site parking;

  • Water Surface Elevation (WSE means the height, in relation to mean sea level, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of coastal or riverine areas.

  • Urban renewal area means a slum area or a blighted area or a combination thereof which the municipality designates as appropriate for an urban renewal project.
