Alternative Treatment Plan definition

Alternative Treatment Plan means a voluntary program whereby the Participant is offered cost-effective treatment alternatives in lieu of the stated covered services in the Plan, without compromising the quality of care. The Plan’s Care Management Department, in cooperation with the Physician, organizes and coordinates care through multi-disciplinary resources.
