Adult dependent child definition

Adult dependent child means an unmarried person 18 years of age or older who has a disabling impairment that began before age 22 that is collecting disability related benefits from the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA).
Adult dependent child means an individual who is 18 years of age or older and who is incapable of self-care because of a mental or physical disability within the meaning of Government Code section 12926.

  • Dependent child means a child residing in an individual’s household who may legally be claimed as a dependent on the federal income tax of such individual.

Thereafter, We may require further proof of Your Disabled Child’s status, but not more often than annually. Costs associated with such proof will be Your responsibility.

  • Child means a child of the employee under the age of one year except for adoption of a child where ‘child’ means a person under the age of five years who is placed with the employee for the purposes of adoption, other than a child or step-child of the employee or of the parent of the employee or a child who has previously lived continuously with the employee for a period of six month or more.

  • Dependant child means a dependant person who is aged 0–17 years of age.

  • Covered Dependent means a Dependent whose coverage is in effect. It does not include a Dependent whose coverage has ended.

  • Qualifying Dependent means, for Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account purposes,

  • Reconstructive breast surgery means surgery performed as a result of a mastectomy to reestablish symmetry between the two breasts and includes augmentation mammoplasty, reductive mammoplasty, and mastopexy.

  • Training Event means either a Course or Online Training, or both.

  • Dependent student means one who is listed as a dependent on the federal or state income tax return

  • Qualified disabled veteran means a business entity that is 51% or more owned by one or more veterans with a service- connected disability.

  • Dependents means dependents as defined in the Internal Revenue Code and as claimed in the taxpayer's federal income tax return for the taxable year or which the taxpayer would have been permitted to claim had the taxpayer filed a federal income tax return.

  • Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C.
