Accessible Formats definition

Accessible Formats means an alternate format that allows people with disabilities to access information in a manner other than how the format was originally delivered, and may include, but is not limited to, large print and Braille;

Accessible Formats means formats that are an alternative to standard print and are accessible to people with disabilities. Accessible formats include large print, Braille, and audio electronic formats such as DVDs, CDs, etc.

To address the requirements of such laws, in particular the Information and Communication Standards of Ontario Regulation 191/11, web content must conform with the ISO Standard (ISO/IEC 40500:2012) (World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at Level A starting in 2014 and to Level AA by 2021 (xxxx://xxx.x0.xxx/WAI/intro/wcag.php) in accordance with the schedules and requirements of the foregoing laws, as may be amended from time to time, to the extent required to comply with such laws.
