Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander definition

Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander means a person who: i. is of Aboriginal descent and/or Xxxxxx Strait Islander descent;
Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander or “Indigenous” person means any person who is of Aboriginal and/or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander descent who is recognised and accepted as such by other Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander peoples and who identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander.
Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander means a person of Australian Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander descent who identifies as an Australian Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander person and is accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander person by the community in which they live or have lived. • ABN has the meaning as given in section 41 of the A New Tax System (Australian Business Number) Act 1999.
