WORKING WEEKENDS. To assist in meeting seasonal fluctuations and peak workloads, Council has the ability to request an Employee to work their weekend, or part thereof. An Employee can refuse to work a weekend on reasonable grounds, unless weekend work forms part of the regular roster in that particular workgroup. Any Employee, other than an Employee working at the Xxxxxxxx Swimming Pool, who is required to work a shift on a weekend, or part thereof, shall be paid in accordance with the overtime rates specified in this Agreement.
