Work Year (2019. 1. The work year for regular teachers shall be one hundred eighty-three (l83) total days and one hundred eighty-four (184) days for new teachers [five (5) additional days per year at each bargaining unit member's per diem rate can be scheduled annually by the Board, at the Board's discretion, as part of the annual school calendar]. Days, in addition, shall be paid by extended time contract on a per diem rate basis. Make-up days are adopted as part of the annual Board adopted calendar with any days of school closing due to calamity not being scheduled for make- up days.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Period; Overtime Pay The work period for overtime computation purposes shall be a seven (7) day period, as defined by the Employer. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the twelve (12) hour shift, all overtime hours after fourteen (14) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Annual Allowance The Corporation shall pay to the Executive, in cash, in a lump sum, on the Payment Date an amount equal to two times the annual allowance to which the Executive is entitled as of the date of the Date of Termination (or, if higher, as of immediately prior to the Effective Date).

  • Basic Work Year The regular work year shall be prescribed by the School District each year for regular employees.
