Common use of Waiver of Posting or Selection Clause in Contracts

Waiver of Posting or Selection. If at any time an individual who is in receipt of LTD or Workplace Safety and Insurance Board benefits is capable of returning to any further service with the Company or if a medically suitable position becomes available for an employee who is medically restricted while at work or on sick leave, the Company will request, and the Union shall normally grant a waiver of posting or selection after considering all medically restricted employees eligible under the Rehabilitation and Re-Employment Policy.
