UNION MEMBERSHIP AND CHECK-OFF. All present employees, new hires and probationary employees, on the completion of their probationary period, shall, as a condition of employment, become and remain members of the Union, for the term of this agreement. Dues are defined for the purpose of this clause as the regular Union dues and initiation fees as prescribed by the constitution of the Union.
