Common use of Union Leave Clause in Contracts

Union Leave. A leave of absence without pay to attend to Union business shall be granted to an employee. Two (2) weeks' advance notice shall be given to the Employer indicating that such leave is required. This type of leave shall not exceed one (1) calendar year unless otherwise mutually agreed to between the Employer and the Union.
