UNION LABELS. All uniforms and work clothing issued by the Employer to CUPE personnel shall bear a recognized union label. Exceptions will require the mutual agreement of the Union and the Employer. This does not include personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to: safety glasses, goggles, hearing protection, respirators, hard hats and work gloves. However, the Employer will make reasonable efforts to purchase such equipment that is union made and/or Canadian made provided quality, cost and availability are comparable.

UNION LABELS. During compliance with all of the provisions of this agreement, the Company shall display the appropriate union label of the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association on all items produced exclusively under the terms of this agreement. The Company agrees that all union labels shall be the property of the Union and said permission to display the union label may be revoked by the Union for causes the Union deems adequate. There will be a logbook kept of the union label on the products and the location and the Company’s names. The log book will be acquired and maintained solely by the Stewards.

  • Union Stewards The Hospital agrees to recognize Union stewards to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement. A Chief Xxxxxxx or designate may, in the absence of any xxxxxxx, assist in the presentation of any grievance, or with any xxxxxxx function. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of Union stewards appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. It is agreed that Union stewards have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When resuming his regular duties and responsibilities, such xxxxxxx shall again report to his immediate supervisor. A Union xxxxxxx shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent in performing the above duties during his regular scheduled working hours. Nothing in this Article shall preclude full-time stewards from representing part-time employees and vice-versa. The number of stewards and the areas which they represent, are to be determined locally."

  • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the following February.

  • Advertising and Promotional Materials The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Vendor shall have the right to use drawings, photographs, videos or other depictions of the interior and/or exterior of the Dwelling and/or the Subdivision or any components or features thereof in any promotional or advertising materials without notice to or consent from the Purchaser being required in any manner whatsoever.

  • Prescription Safety Glasses Prescription safety glasses will be furnished by the employer. The employer retains the authority to establish reasonable rules and procedures regarding frequency of issue, replacement of damaged glasses, limits on reimbursement costs and coordination with the employer's vision plan.
