Travelling Time for Leave Purposes. 6.9.1 Where specifically approved in this agreement (and including teachers at in-service courses and on outdoor education) travelling time with pay for a period of up to seven days (exclusive of public holidays) may be granted subject to the following conditions: Leave for travelling can only be granted if the teacher is required to travel when the school is open; The quickest and most direct means of travel shall be used; No travelling time is granted for a journey that is preceded by leave without pay or for a return journey that is followed by a period of leave without pay.

  • Use of Vacation Leave for Sick Leave Purposes The Employer may allow an employee who has used all of his or her sick leave to use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 A. An employee who has used all of his or her sick leave may use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 B – H.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Payment for leave (a) Payment will be made based on the number of ordinary hours the Employee would have worked on the day or days on which the leave was taken.

  • Excess Travelling Time As well as the above-mentioned Fares allowance, excess travelling time is payable if the work site is beyond 50 kilometres from the workshop or registered office. Where an employee is required to travel to a job site outside the 50 kilometres from the Employer’s registered office or depot the employee will be paid the following: • A payment for time travelled in excess of the 50 kilometres with a minimum payment of a quarter of an hour. The rate will be: – Ordinary time Monday to Friday – Time and one half on Saturday and Sunday – Double time on public holidays • It is agreed between the parties that travel for the purposes of clause

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.
