TRANSEXUAL TRANSITION LEAVE. An employee who provides a certificate from a medical practitioner con- firming that the employee requires a leave of absence in order to undergo the medical procedure(s) related to a physical change from one gender to another will suffer no reduction in pay for up to eight-thirty-fifths of the period of her Appointment Contract .
