Termination on Expiration Date of Employment Term. The Board may terminate this Agreement on the Expiration Date as provided in Ind. Code 20-28-8-7-( 3), and the Superintendent may terminate this Agreement on the Expiration Date as provided in Ind. Code 20-28-8-7 (4). The terms provided within this contract addendum shall begin on January 1, 2018 and terminate on December 31, 2020. In the event the Superintendent is rated highly effective or effective for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years, then the Board will consider by no later than March 30, 2020 extending the Superintendent’s contract beyond the original term provided herein. Any contract extension granted by the Board will be subject to the public hearing requirements set forth in Indiana law.

  • Expiration of Employment Term Unless the parties otherwise agree in writing, continuation of Executive’s employment with the Company following the expiration of the Employment Term shall be deemed an employment at-will and shall not be deemed to extend any of the provisions of this Agreement and Executive’s employment may thereafter be terminated at will by either Executive or the Company; provided that the provisions of Sections 6, 7 and 8 of this Agreement shall survive any termination of this Agreement or Executive’s termination of employment hereunder.
