Common use of Teachers' Assignments Clause in Contracts

Teachers' Assignments. 1. The assignment and transfer of teachers is the responsibility of the Superintendent, who will make reasonable effort to satisfy the reasonable requests and desires of teachers concerned. In cases of involuntary transfers, the Superintendent will confer with the Association prior to proceeding with necessary transfers. When an involuntarily transfer is necessary, the teachers’ length of service and number of previous involuntary transfers shall be considered.
