Common use of Swing and Graveyard Shift Differentials Clause in Contracts

Swing and Graveyard Shift Differentials. A. All full-time employees who work a "swing" shift beginning between 12:00 noon and 7:59 p.m. are entitled to a 3.75 percent increase over their basic hourly wage or salary as established by this Article for all hours worked in each such shift. All part-time employees who work a "swing" shift beginning between 4:00 p.m. and 7:59 p.m. are entitled to a 3.75 percent increase over their basic hourly wage as established by this Article for all hours worked in each such shift. B. All employees who work a "graveyard" shift beginning between 8:00 p.m. and 5:59 a.m. are entitled to a 7.5 percent increase over their basic hourly wage or salary as established by this Article for all hours worked in each such shift.
