Suspenders. (a) Suspenders shall be part of the protective trousers but are not to be considered the main support;
Suspenders. A pair of “H” style “Padded Rip-Cord” suspenders shall be specially configured for use with the trousers. The main body run over each shoulder to a point approximately shoulder blade high on the back, where they shall be joined by a 2 inch wide horizontal piece of webbing measuring approximately 8-inches long, forming the “H”. This shall prevent the suspenders from slipping off the shoulders. The shoulder area of the suspenders shall be padded for comfort by fully encasing the webbing with aramid batting and wrap-around black Nomex®. The rear ends of the suspenders shall be sewn to 2-inch wide elasticized webbing extensions measuring approximately 8-inches in length and terminating with thermoplastic loops. The forward ends of the suspender straps shall be equipped with specially configured black powder coat non-slip metal slides. Through the metal slides shall be the 9 inch lengths of strap webbing “Rip-Cords” terminating with thermoplastic loops on each end. Pulling on the “Rip-Cords” shall allow for quick adjustment of the suspenders. Threaded through and attached to the thermoplastic loops on the forward and rear ends of the suspenders shall be black Nomex® suspender attachments incorporating two snap fasteners. The Nomex® suspender attachments are to be threaded through the suspender attachment loops on the inside waistband of the trousers. The Nomex® suspender attachments shall then fold over and attach to themselves securing the suspender to the trousers. The suspenders shall have a stripe of retroreflective fluorescent trim 1½” inch lime/yellow Triple Trim (L/Y borders with silver center).   • Suspended Operations If the University President or designee determines that the public health, property or safety is jeopardized and it is advisable due to emergency conditions to suspend the operation of all or any portion of the University, the following will govern represented individuals:

  • Suspensions The Registration Rights Parties each acknowledge and agree that upon receipt of written notice from the Company, the Company may suspend the use of the Resale Shelf Registration Statement if it determines that in order for such registration statement not to contain an untrue statement of a material fact or omit to state a material fact necessary to make the statements contained therein not misleading, an amendment thereto would be needed to include information that would at that time not otherwise be required to be disclosed in a current, quarterly or annual report under the Exchange Act and the Company has a bona fide business purpose for not making such information public, provided, that, (i) the Company shall suspend the use of the Resale Shelf Registration Statement for the shortest period of time, but in no event for a period of more than 60 consecutive days or more than a total of 120 calendar days in any 360-day period; provided, however, that the Company shall not defer or suspend its obligations in this manner more than three times in any 360-day period; (ii) the Company shall suspend the use of any other Registration Statement and prospectus and shall not sell any securities for its own account or that of any other stockholder, in each case during such time as the Resale Shelf Registration Statement is suspended pursuant to this Section 2.1(a)(iv); and (iii) the Company shall use commercially reasonable efforts to make such Resale Shelf Registration Statement available for the sale by the Registration Rights Parties of such securities promptly thereafter. The Company shall immediately notify the Registration Rights Parties in writing of (i) the date on which such suspension will begin pursuant to this Section 2(a)(iv) and (ii) the date on which such suspension period will end pursuant to this Section 2(a)(iv). The Effectiveness Period shall be extended by the amount of time during which the use of any Registration Statement is suspended pursuant to this Section 2(a)(iv).

Where, by the terms of a distribution pursuant to Section 4.01, 4.02 or 4.03, or an offering or distribution pursuant to Section 4.04, or for any other reason, such distribution or offering may not be made available to Owners, and the Depositary may not dispose of such distribution or offering on behalf of such Owners and make the net proceeds available to such Owners, then the Depositary shall not make such distribution or offering, and shall allow any rights, if applicable, to lapse.
