Substantial Completion of Sections or Parts of the Works. In accordance with the procedure in Sub-Clause (1) of this Clause and on the same conditions as provided therein, the Contractor may request the Engineer to issue, and the Engineer may issue, a Certificate of Substantial Completion in respect of any Section or part of the Works which has been substantially completed and has satisfactorily passed any tests on completion prescribed by the Contract, if:

Substantial Completion of Sections or Parts of the Works. In accordance with the procedure in Sub-Clause (1) of this Clause and on the same conditions as provided therein, the Contractor may request the Engineer to issue, and the Engineer may issue, a Certificate of Substantial Completion in respect of any Section or part of the Works which has been substantially completed and has satisfactorily passed any tests on completion prescribed by the Contract, if: a separate time for completion is provided in the Contract in respect of such Section or part of the Works; such Section or part of the Works has been completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer and is required by the Employer for his occupation or use. Upon the issuance of such Certificate, the Contractor shall be deemed to have undertaken to complete any outstanding work during the Defects Liability Period.

  • Termination of Stopped Work If a stop work order is not canceled and the work covered by such order is terminated for default or convenience, the reasonable costs resulting from the stop work order shall be allowed by adjustment or otherwise.

  • CERTIFICATION OF NO ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS OR WORK 8.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that no asbestos containing materials or work is included within the scope of the Work. The Contractor shall take whatever measures it deems necessary to insure that all employees, suppliers, fabricators, material men, subcontractors, or their assigns, comply with this requirement.
