Common use of Step Movement Clause in Contracts

Step Movement. Annual advancement on the salary schedule via step movement is recognized as a component of the employee’s compensation. Annual step movement, as a part of compensation, will be implemented contingent upon and after final contract agreement on compensation between the parties. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2016 2019) effective July 1, 2016 2019. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2017 2020) effective July 1, 2017 2020.
