Additional Step Sample Clauses
The "Additional Step" clause defines a requirement for parties to undertake an extra action or process beyond those already specified in the agreement. In practice, this might involve providing further documentation, obtaining a specific approval, or completing a supplementary task before a particular obligation is considered fulfilled. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to fully satisfy the contract's requirements, thereby reducing the risk of incomplete performance or misunderstandings between the parties.
Additional Step. Effective July 1, 2015 the Superintendent or their designee may award one additional step in a particular year to an employee based on performance.

For non-attorney classifications this shall be a new Step Six; for attorney classifications this shall be a new Step Three. This increase shall be prospective only, no retroactive application. In addition, all attorney classifications who have at least four years' employment service in the Court shall be placed on an additional, higher salary step as close as practicable to 5% above the prior step. For attorney classifications this shall be a new Step Four. This increase shall be prospective only, no retroactive application.
