STATUS OF THE HIRER. Lettings will not be made to persons under the age of 21, or to any organisation or group with an unlawful or extremist background. (See 1.2). The hire agreement is personal to the hirer only, and nothing in it is intended to have the effect of giving exclusive possession of any part of the school to them or of creating any tenancy between the school and the hirer. The school reserves the right to obtain references from employers and / or previous lettings premises to ensure the status of the hirer is as stated at the time of booking. Any change in the status of the hirer which may adversely affect the school’s reputation may result in the termination of the agreement. This can include (but not exclusively), dishonest conduct, change in DBS circumstances, police caution or charge, complaints from surrounding buildings during the letting time.

Neither FICA (Social Security), FUTA (Federal Employment), nor local, state or federal income taxes will be withheld from payments to Consultant. Consultant shall at Consultant’s expense pay and be fully liable and responsible for, and indemnity and hold harmless City from, any assessments, fines or penalties relating to Consultant’s failure to uphold any of these responsibilities.

  • Status of the Agreement This Agreement shall supersede any rules, regulations, policies, resolutions or practices of the District, which shall be contrary to or inconsistent with its terms.

  • Status of the Manager The services of the Manager to the Fund, or with respect to the Portfolio, are not to be deemed exclusive, and the Manager shall be free to render similar services to others, as long as its services to the Fund or to the Portfolio are not impaired thereby.   • Status of the Subadviser The services of the Subadviser to the Adviser and the Trust are not to be deemed exclusive, and the Subadviser shall be free to render similar services to others so long as its services to the Trust are not impaired thereby. The Subadviser shall be deemed to be an independent contractor and shall, unless otherwise expressly provided or authorized, have no authority to act for or represent the Trust in any way or otherwise be deemed an agent of the Trust.
