Common use of SPECIAL TIME OFF Clause in Contracts

SPECIAL TIME OFF. 30:01 Any supervisor may, in the supervisor's discretion, allow time off, not in excess of ten (10) hours, to any member when the member requests casual time off for a particular purpose provided the member shall make up the time on an hour for hour basis. Such time off shall not be utilized to extend annual vacations or in substitution for payment of overtime. During this make-up time, meal allowance and other benefits do not apply.
