Special Subject Teachers. A Teacher of a special subject (e.g., physical education, science, mathematics, foreign language, speech, reading, music, art, and language arts) who is assigned to give specialized instruction to students on a resident or itinerant basis. STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT. Measures of student achievement may include but shall not be limited to test scores in core academic subjects.
