Sick Leave Used as Personal Leave. Up to twenty-four (24) hours of accrued sick leave may be taken as Personal Leave during the calendar year so long as the employee has a minimum of 160 hours of accrued sick leave on the books at the time their Personal Leave is taken. Approval for the use of Personal Leave shall otherwise be subject to the same use rules as vacation.
