Service of Contractor. Any pilots, tugboats, stevedores, longshoremen or any other provider of port services referred to in Clause 14.1 shall, to the extent providing services to the Vessel, be the borrowed servants of Contractor and Contractor shall have control over and ultimate liability for the actions of the same to the extent only that such liability is covered by Contractor's insurance as provided in Clause 24.1(a) (or would have been so covered if Contractor has been in compliance with its obligations under Clause 24.1(a)). Customer shall have ultimate liability for the actions of such pilots, tugboats, stevedores, longshoremen or any other provider of port services to the extent not covered by Contractor's insurance.

  • Service of Notices 23.1 Any written notice given under this Contract shall be deemed to have been given and received:

  • Service of Documents We may serve you with a writ of summons, statement of claim or any other legal process or document requiring personal service by delivering it personally, sending it by ordinary post or by leaving it at your last known address (whether a post office address or private residence or business residence or otherwise). You will be considered to have been properly served on the date of delivery if we deliver process personally to you, or served on the next date after the date of posting if process is posted to you. In addition to these two (2) methods of service, we may serve you in any other method permitted by law.

  • The Service Provider upon receipt of a notice contemplated under clause 19.1 shall discontinue the supply of all services or goods under this Agreement, to the extent specified, and on the date specified in the notice.
