SENIORITY AND REDUCTION IN FORCE. Section 1. City seniority is an employee's most recent date of employment or reemployment with the City. Seniority will not accrue during a leave of absence without pay. City seniority shall be used for matters involving length of service and benefits accrued thereof. After successful completion of the probationary period, seniority time reverts to the original (and most recent) date of employment.
