Screening and Referrals. Contractors must conduct developmental screenings to identify children who may need further evaluation. Screening must include speech/language, social-emotional, physical/motor, and cognitive development. Screening tools must be responsive and sensitive to the cultural and linguistic needs of each child and family and administered only with parent consent. Contractors must document:  Developmental screening of each child within 90 calendar days of the child’s first day of class.  Referrals for further assessment, if needed, based on screening, observation, and/or parent concerns.  Follow up with parents to ensure that referred children receive needed developmental services. If a child is identified as having special needs, contractors must work with the Local Education Agency (LEA) to develop an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that identifies and plans for needed services. E-11 Observation, Assessment, and Individualization Contractors must ensure teaching staff:  Perform ongoing observations of individual children’s activities, interactions, behavior, language, learning, and development across the developmental domains.  Maintain objective observation notes in Teaching Strategies GOLD® Online .  Use Teaching Strategies GOLD® Online for their child assessment tool. Staff must enter and maintain accurate information in GOLD®. o Rate all objectives within the following areas of GOLD®: Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy and Mathematics three times each year, according to the schedule in the ECEAP Contract. o Complete the Home Language Survey on all ECEAP children, and assessing the child’s English language acquisition, if indicated, using GOLD® objectives 37-38.  Use observation and assessment information to plan individualized curriculum and guidance.

  • PACKING AND MARKING Seller shall package all Goods shipped under this Order in accordance with the requirements in this Order, or, if requirements are not specified, in accordance with standard commercial practices customary for similar shipments. When shipping any Goods that are food or food packaging, Seller will ship the Goods under sanitary conditions using carriers suitable for the transport of such Goods that will not render the Goods contaminated with filth, injurious to health, or otherwise adulterated (e.g., carriers that have not been used to transport garbage, waste or other refuse). In each master carton or container in which Goods are shipped, Seller shall include a certificate of analysis, bill of lading, and packing list indicating this Order number, description, quantity, HSY item numbers, and other identifying information corresponding to the information in this Order. Seller shall clearly mark all packages in accordance with all applicable laws and shall label each unit of the Goods with the country of origin, weight, and name of manufacturer. Seller shall ensure that a receiving document/proof-of-delivery is issued to HSY for any shipment made to a third party location. All costs, fines or penalties incurred or assessed due to improper packing or marking will be Seller’s responsibility, and if paid by HSY, will be deducted from amounts owed to Seller. Seller will notify HSY of the number of packages, size, weight, method of protection during shipment and method of storage and protection upon arrival at destination.

  • Screening 3.13.1 Refuse containers located outside the building shall be fully screened from adjacent properties and from streets by means of opaque fencing or masonry walls with suitable landscaping.
