Common use of Research Activities and Data Requests Clause in Contracts

Research Activities and Data Requests. Vendor acknowledges and agrees that it is not authorized to conduct any research activities in the Chicago Public Schools or to use CPS student data for research purposes. In the event Vendor seeks to conduct research activities in the Chicago Public Schools or use CPS student data for research purposes in connection with this Agreement, Vendor shall comply with the Board’s Research Study and Data Policy adopted on July 28, 2010 (10-0728-PO1), as may be amended from time to time. Vendor acknowledges and agrees that it may not begin any research activities or obtain data for research purposes without the prior written consent of the Chief Officer of the Office of Research, Evaluation and Accountability or his/her designee.
