Common use of Research Activities and Data Requests Clause in Contracts

Research Activities and Data Requests. Provider shall not conduct any research in the Chicago Public Schools or use CPS Data for research purposes. In the event Provider seeks to conduct research in the Chicago Public Schools or use Confidential Information, including CPS Student Data, for purposes not specified in this Agreement, then Provider shall comply with the Board’s External Research Study and Data Policy (19-1211-PO3), as amended from time to time. Provider acknowledges and agrees that it may not begin any research activities or obtain data for research purposes without the prior written consent of the Board’s Director of Performance Data & Policy or his/her designee.
