REQUIREMENT OF CONTRACT BOND a. Successful bidders shall furnish bond, simultaneously with the execution of the formal contract, to the State of Delaware for the benefit of the Agency with surety in the amount of 100% of the total contract award or as otherwise provided in the Special Provisions. Said bonds shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract.

REQUIREMENT OF CONTRACT BOND. B. In compliance with Section 573 of the Code of Iowa, the Contractor shall, at the request of the Contracting Authority, on all contracts amounting to five thousand ($5,000.00) dollars or more, file an acceptable bond in an amount not less than 100 percent of the contract sum with the Contracting Authority.

  • Performance Bond Unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Department may require the Contractor to furnish, without additional cost to the Department, a performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit or other form of security for the satisfactory performance of work hereunder. The Department shall determine the type and amount of security.

  • STATUS OF CONTRACTOR 20 CONTRACTOR is, and shall at all times be deemed to be, an independent contractor and shall be 21 wholly responsible for the manner in which it performs the services required of it by the terms of this 22 Agreement. CONTRACTOR is entirely responsible for compensating staff, subcontractors, and 23 consultants employed by CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR, its agents, employees, consultants, or subcontractors, shall not be 29 entitled to any rights or privileges of COUNTY employees and shall not be considered in any manner to 30 be COUNTY employees. 31
