Common use of Release for Incompetence Clause in Contracts

Release for Incompetence. An employee released for incompetence who has completed more than ten (10) years of continuous employment and who ceased to be employed following his/her release for incompetence is entitled to receive one (1) week’s pay for each complete year of continuous employment at the time of his/her release up to a maximum of twenty-eight (28) weeks, less any period in respect of which he/she was already granted severance pay by the Employer.
