Rejection During Probationary Period. During the probationary period, any probationary employee may be rejected at any time by the Department Head. Notification of rejection in writing and reasons for rejection shall be served upon the probationer, and a copy filed with the Director of Human Resources Management. Rejection during probation is not subject to the grievance procedure included within this Memorandum of Understanding.
