Common use of REINSTATEMENT OF VETERANS Clause in Contracts

REINSTATEMENT OF VETERANS. Any employee when required to enter into active service in the Armed Forces of the United States, upon the termination of such service, shall be offered re-employment in his/her previous position or a position of like seniority, status and pay, unless the circumstances have so changed as to make it impossible or totally unreasonable to do so, in which event he/she will be offered such employment in line with his/her seniority as may be available, which he/she is capable of doing, at the current rate of pay for such work, provided he/she reports for work within ninety (90) days of the date of such discharge or ninety (90) days after hospitalization continuing after discharge.
