Common use of Reinstatement of Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Reinstatement of Sick Leave. When an employee is reinstated into the same position or re- employed in the County bargaining unit within one (1) year fol- lowing resignation or within two (2) years following layoff, sick leave credits accumulated at time of resignation or layoff shall be restored.

An employee who is reinstated into the same position or re- re-employed in the County bargaining unit within one (1) year fol- lowing resignation or within two (2) years following layoff, after voluntary separation shall have all of his/her sick leave credits accumulated at time of resignation or layoff shall be restored.
