Regional and Local Governments. 7.1 In addition to their other obligations under this Agreement, Signatories agree not to require or encourage, directly or indirectly, regional and local governments and authorities, non-governmental bodies, and other bodies to take action inconsistent with provisions of this Agreement.

Regional and Local Governments. Each Party is fully responsible for the observance of all obligations and commitments under this Agreement and shall ensure their observance by its respective regional and local governments and authorities and by non-governmental bodies in the exercise of governmental powers delegated by central, regional and local governments or authorities within its territory.
Regional and Local Governments. In fulfilling its obligations and commitments under this Agreement, each Party shall, in accordance with the provisions of Article XXIV.12 of GATT 1994 and the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XXIV of GATT 1994, take such reasonable measures as may be available to it to ensure observance by state, regional and local governments and authorities within its territories.

  • Regional and Local Transmission The prices quoted in Exhibit A do not include current and future charges for distribution service costs collected by the Local Distributor under its distribution service tariff or local transmission costs as may be imposed by the regional power pool, ISO-NE, or individual electric utilities that have FERC transmission tariffs. Its Competitive Supplier understands that these costs will be collected by the Local Distributor. If, in the future, Competitive Supplier becomes responsible for such distribution or transmission costs, Competitive Supplier shall be entitled to collect such costs from Participating Consumers to the extent permitted by any Governmental Rules. These costs are “pass through” costs as determined by the appropriate regulatory agencies.

The applicable laws of the Participant’s country may require that he or she report such accounts, assets, the balances therein, the value thereof and/or the transactions related thereto to the applicable authorities in such country. The Participant acknowledges that he or she is responsible for ensuring compliance with any applicable foreign asset/account, exchange control and tax reporting requirements and should consult his or her personal legal advisor on this matter.
