Common use of Reduction of Full-Time Faculty Clause in Contracts

Reduction of Full-Time Faculty. Whenever necessary, because of insufficient student enrollment as defined in E below, to decrease the size of the full-time faculty in any discipline (e.g., economics), counseling service or library service, the Board, upon recommendation of the President may lay off the necessary number of faculty in the discipline(s) or areas affected.
